Christmas In A Box
The Christmas boxes were a HUGE success! We wrapped, we packed, we stuffed! Then we ate pizza!
Each box shipped contained the following:
10 stuffed stockings (socks, tic tacs, candy, cards, & gum)
2 sets of boxing gloves with 2 head gears
Battle Ship, Monopoly, Texas Hold'em, Dominos, Sorry, Scrabble, Mini basketball, a 24" tree with a skirt, decorations and lights, Christmas cards to mail back home, garland, a fruit cake, thin mints, a Santa hat... and LOTS of letters from children.
Several of the items were donated or supplied at cost... a HUGE thank you to the Merrillville Walmart, Dick's Sporting Goods at Westfield Mall and Horizon Bank in Michigan City! Great community support from these places! Remember that they supported the troops!
I would also like to thank all of the CAMPers that came out to Valpo to help put this Christmas in a box together!
The items for these boxes cost over $6000.00 PLUS shipping!
Check out the pictures!!!

4th Annual Holiday Of Honor

What a wonderful event we had this year! The BEST Holiday Of Honor yet!
We will be posting pictures soon... Don't miss it next year! We had 350 guest, about 30 of which were actively serving military personnel. We also were blessed with a full table of WWII veterans and several other veterans! This is the first year that the event covered it's own expenses! Thank you ALL for making this such an outstanding occassion. Hope to see you at the 5th annual Holiday Of Honor! (Always the Sunday before Christmas).
See you in 2008!
